When you need money to grow
Habaqa is built by Promoat Capital, an investment firm, so grants and investors are in the same app. Apply for a grant from your profile, and choose which investors get to see your numbers.
Free to run, and no card to start
The tools cost nothing: invoicing, customers, your books, your profile. Getting paid by bank transfer costs nothing either, so you can invoice and collect the way you do today without paying us anything.
The one thing that costs is payment processing, and only if you choose to let customers pay online. You see what it is before you turn that on, and the detail is in our Terms.
Questions owners ask us
Is it really free? What is the catch?
The tools are free and staying that way: no monthly fee, no card, no equity. Payment processing has its own fees, if you choose to take payments online, and you see them before you turn that on. The money otherwise comes from the other side of the register, where investors pay a monthly subscription for access. Everything a business uses here is free, and that is the model, not a promotion.
Who can see my numbers?
Nobody, until you say yes. Investors we have checked see your story: name, sector, location, team, photos. Your financial bands, CAC number and contact details unlock only for an investor whose request you accept, and you can end that access later.
Do I need a registered business to join?
No. You can run invoices and customers with no CAC number. Registration matters for the Verified badge and for being listed to investors, and an honest “not yet” on your profile is fine.
What happens to my grant application?
If you applied for the Drawbridge Grant, sign in with the same email. Your business is already set up and the application is on its own tab, with where it has got to.
Will my customers need an app?
No. They open a link in their browser, on any phone.
Can I delete my account?
Any time, from your Account page. Your profile disappears immediately, you have 30 days to change your mind by signing back in, and after that everything is erased.
