Habaqa / For investors
Nigerian SME deal flow, without the guesswork.
Habaqa is where Nigerian small businesses run their day-to-day, which makes it a register of real, operating companies rather than pitch decks. Apply for access, browse structured profiles, and go deeper only when an owner lets you in.
Access is reviewed. No anonymous browsing.
How access works
Apply, and tell us who you are
Your name, firm if any, the sectors you back, and your ticket range in naira. Our team reviews every application before the register opens up.
Browse the register
Filter by sector and location. Each profile shows the story side: what the business does, who runs it, team, customers, channels, and photos, plus a Verified badge where we have checked CAC registration details.
Request to go deeper
When a business interests you, send a request with your note. The owner decides. If they accept, their financial bands, registration details, and direct contact unlock for you, and only you.
Evaluate and deal directly
Diligence and terms happen between you and the owner. Habaqa is the venue, not a broker: no success fees, no carry, no seat at your table.
What a profile tells you
Structured, comparable, and honest about gaps
Profiles follow one structure, so you compare like with like: sector, location, founding year, team size, revenue and cost bands, profitability, registration status, use of funds, and the ask. “Not yet” is an allowed answer, which tells you something too.
- Revenue in bands, so owners share signal safely
- CAC-checked Verified badges
- Photos of the real operation
- The ask, in naira, with intended use

The ground rules
Financials and contact details unlock per owner, per investor. An owner can end your access, and when they do, you stop using what was shared.
What businesses share with you is for evaluating an investment. No republishing, no sharing outside your firm, no using it to compete with the business.
Habaqa introduces; it does not offer, broker, or advise. Any investment happens under its own agreement between you and the business, after your own diligence.
Questions investors ask us
What does access cost?
Nothing today. Habaqa takes no fees on deals either. If paid investor features arrive later, they will be priced clearly and optional.
What kind of businesses are on the register?
Nigerian small businesses across sectors: agriculture, retail, food, fashion, services, logistics, and more. Many arrive through The Drawbridge Grant pipeline, which means they have already been through an application and review.
How is quality controlled?
Structured profiles keep information comparable; CAC checks back the Verified badge; false answers are grounds for removal; and misleading businesses can be delisted. Diligence remains yours.
Who reviews investor applications?
The Promoat Capital team reads every application. We keep the register closed to anonymous browsing on purpose; owners share more when they know who is looking.
